HOW TO GET THERE

 

• From the airoport

 

From the Lisbon Airoport (Portela) to the Cidade Universitária its a 10 minutes drive. The aeroport is very close to the city center - about 7km. There are several alternatives to get to the campus, including the underground Metro, the Aerobus, city buses (Carris) or taxi.

 

• Táxi

 

The taxi allows you to get to Cidade Universitária coming from anywhere in the city, but the rate also increases with the distance traveled, amount of traffic and time. Generally, a trip from the airport to Cidade Universitária costs about € 10. You can purchase "taxi vouchers" at the airport for about 20 €.

 

• Bus

 

The entire city of Lisbon is covered by a network of urban transport with convenient schedules and frequent buses. The following buses stop near the Faculdade de Letras: 31, 35, 738, 768

• Subway

 

The building of the Facukty of Arts is a 2 minute walk from the metro station with the name "University City". This station is on the Yellow line. Each trip costs € 1.40 plus € 0.50 for the purchase from the rechargeable card "Viva Viagem". You can also buy a day ticket (€ 6.00), valid throughout the Metro and Carris network for a period of 24 hours.
